About The Events

Mike Blue has spent the last several years extensively playing and navigating the North-West music scene.

Over the past 6 years he has recorded and released two albums and 1 EP, as well as touring around the U.K with his band and as a solo musician.

His last U.K tour in 2023 concluded with a sold out show in Liverpool and coincided with the release of his 4 track EP ‘Of All The Fragile Mind.’ He then spent the past year in and out of the studio, turning that EP into a fully fleshed out album ‘The Unbearable Weight Of All Things Considered.’

Mike will be debuting this album with a special one-off small, intimate acoustic performance, playing the album in its entirety and discussing how he wrote each song and developed the album. This show will be the only one he plays like this before embarking on a full U.K band tour later on in the year.

This is a unique gig experience that puts you at the heart of the artist’s performance. Due to this we have a minimal talking/phone use policy during performances.

Any unnecessary noise during performances will result in you being asked to leave the event. We thank you for helping us to create a listening environment and respecting the artists.

No under 18s allowed.

Doors open at 19:00 and the show starts shortly after.

A large proportion of the revenue raised from ticket sales is returned to the artists as payment for their talent and musicianship.

Prohibition Recording Studios prides itself in having musical integrity on behalf of ourselves and the artists.

Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and are non-refundable.

We politely ask all guests to arrive within 45 minuites of the door opening time to ensure performances are not disturbed. Once performances start, our doors will be closed.

Ticket sales end at 12pm on the day of the event – No tickets will be available on the door unless specified by Prohibition Recording Studios.
